Christopher and Angel Renfroe were born and raised right here in Kershaw County, and their love for the community runs deep.
Renfroe Ranch Campground is a family-owned and built-from-the-ground-up dream. The Renfroes purchased the ranch in 2020, began building the campground in 2021, and proudly opened their gates in June 2023.
What began as a vision has become a peaceful retreat for travelers and locals alike — and they’re just getting started. Christopher and Angel are excited to welcome every guest who passes through and are committed to continually expanding and improving the campground experience.
Our Story: Built on Family, Hard Work, and Passion
Starting our adventure in 2020, right as the world faced the challenges of the COVID pandemic, we knew the road ahead would be tough. But we were determined and ready for the challenge.
Renfroe Ranch is much more than just a business — it’s a family-driven project, built from the ground up to teach our children lifelong values and skills that will guide them toward becoming productive, caring citizens.
Our journey has been filled with hard work, dedication, and countless hours of planning. We believe that with perseverance, the right mindset, and a lot of heart, any goal is within reach. While our campground is still growing, we’ve already made so many memories and formed relationships that are truly special.
We are humbled by the support we've received along the way and are excited to continue on this path. Our mission is simple: to be a blessing to others, to inspire those around us to reach their fullest potential, and to show that with effort, nothing can stand in our way.

I stayed at this campground for a couple months. I could not have picked a better campground! The family that runs the campground is very friendly, always there to help in any way that they can. It’s very peaceful, my kids loved the playground. The dog park is also a nice addition which was recently added. We also love that they have horses here as well! The laundry facility on site is perfect and very convenient.

We stayed at Renfroe for 3 months while we shopped for our forever home after relocating to the area from Florida. Chris and his family are amazing folks and went above and beyond during our stay.

Beautiful & peaceful campground in the Columbia, SC area. Very safe and home like. The family that owns the campground is very kind & willing to help with camper life, especially to those of us that are new at it! They offer fresh eggs & firewood for purchase! I would highly recommend this campground to be your home away from home or just a stop along the way! Very reasonable pricing & good people to work with!
